Updated over a week ago

As a manager, your role in the compensation review process is crucial for ensuring fair and competitive pay for your team members. This guide will help you navigate the Figures platform and understand your responsibilities during the review cycle.

Your role and responsibilities

As a manager, your primary responsibility is to review each team member's performance and current compensation. You'll need to make informed decisions about salary adjustments and promotions, always providing clear justifications for your choices. It's crucial to complete all reviews within the designated timeframe while ensuring fairness and consistency across your team.

Accessing the Compensation Review module

To begin the review process, log in to your Figures account and navigate to the Compensation Review section. Here, you'll find the active review campaign for your team. Upon entering, you'll be greeted by your dashboard, which serves as your command center throughout the review process.

Understanding Your Dashboard

Your dashboard provides an overview of your tasks:

  1. Off-cycle reviews assigned to you or requested by you. These are salary increases that occur outside the standard cycles.

  2. Standard salary review campaigns. These are configured by your HR administrators and take place once or twice a year.

Within a standard campaign you will find :

  • The budget allocated to your team

Depending on your organisation's configuration, you can see the budget allocated to you and how it is used in real time. If you have access to it, it helps you track spending when making remuneration decisions.

  • The progress bar

This tool shows how many reviews you've completed and how many are pending.

  • The list of employees eligible for review

The main section of your dashboard displays a list of all the employees you need to review, including their current status and key remuneration details.

💡 Customise your view

  • Use the ‘Columns’ drop-down menu to display additional information relevant to your review process.

  • Use the search and filter functions to efficiently find specific employees or groups.

To review an employee's compensation:

  • Click on the employee's name in the list.
