If you’ve set up an integration to your HRIS then, to begin with, any updates to your data set are automatically detected and imported. The synchronization between your HRIS and Figures takes place daily.

This means new hires are automatically imported and leavers removed from your dataset. It also means that our system detects changes in terms of salary, location, level or job if the latter occur in your HRIS system and are related to any of the already uploaded and mapped employees.

However☝️, these changes are not always automatically carried over into your live data set. Instead, some finishing touches from you may be needed.

Therefore, please check the Imported Employees tab regularly for employees that are either unmapped or need remapping.

Unmapped employees

New hires, if not mapped automatically, are listed under unmapped and need to be mapped following the instructions in our corresponding help articles.

When would they be mapped automatically, you ask? 🤔 This depends on the mapping conducted on the Mapping tab, as the latter will be saved and considered whenever new employees are added, thus facilitating automatic mapping which reduces your effort and saves you time.

Employees that need remapping

Changes to job, level, location, salary or bonus for already mapped employees on the other hand are imported and the respective employees assigned the status needs remapping. For every employee listed as such a change has been detected that needs to be confirmed by you.
