Data Maintenance on Figures: An Overview

Figures distinguishes itself from other benchmark solutions by providing you with real-time benchmark data. This is mostly ensured through automated data imports and updates via your HRIS integrations.

Yet, some automatic updates can’t be carried over into the live dataset without manual effort or approval. And some of our clients don’t have an HRIS to begin with, thus using our spreadsheet import instead.

This is where we need your support in terms of data maintenance 🙌 to ensure that it is always the most current data considered in our benchmarks and your dashboards.

Common updates that can occur and may need your attention are:

  1. New hires need to be added and/or mapped

  2. Leavers may need to be removed from the dataset

  3. Changes in level, location, job title, salary or bonus need to be entered or confirmed

However, the amount of Data Maintenance necessary depends on two aspects:

  1. Whether you’ve imported your data via HRIS or spreadsheet.

  2. How much of the mapping of locations, levels, and jobs you have done on the mapping tab (more on that HERE).

For more detailed information on maintaining your data using either data source, please check out the dedicated articles on Data Maintenance - Spreadsheet as Data Source and Data Maintenance - HRIS as Data Source.
