After mapping levels in the onboarding process, the next step is mapping your employees to Figures locations. This is essential for obtaining location-specific salary benchmarks, providing more accurate data comparisons. Follow these simple steps to map locations:

  1. In the onboarding flow, click on the location field for each of your organization's locations.

  2. Search for the location by country and select the appropriate value:

    • Specific city: For employees working in a listed office location.

    • Other: For employees working in an unlisted city office.

    • Remote: For employees with a special remote work contract.

  3. Repeat the process for all your locations, ensuring each one is mapped to a Figures equivalent.

  4. Once you have completed mapping all the locations, click on "Next" to move to the next step of the onboarding: mapping jobs.

It's crucial to select the actual location your employees work from, rather than the location you want to benchmark them against. After completing the setup process, you will be able to define your geographic strategy and choose specific benchmark locations within the "Compensation Policy" tab.

If you can't find a particular country in the dropdown menu, don't hesitate to reach out to us through our website or platform chat, and we'll gladly assist you.
